It was bedtime in the mart, or around then, as sleep schedules were often erratic. Harvey had found a working clock in the Mart on the group's second day there, only to find that their sleeping schedules were far off from the original Earthly time. Because of this, people often slept when their eyes grew heavily, and this time seemed to creep later and later.
The day had wound down and most people were crawling into their sleeping bags, some sitting around the campsite with a book, others playing old games they discovered in the mart's crevices. Here, Harvey arose from his game of solitaire, a lonely game for a still-lonely atmosphere, and cleared his throat.
"Can I have everyone's attention, please...?" he said rather quietly, but to a room plagued with silence and murmurs.
